Personality:
Diarmune is bright and jovial in nature, and tends to give off a warm and welcoming demeanor unless you approach in a threatening manner. He speaks in a gentle tone, and gestures often with his hands as he talks, giving the man a more animated appearance.Rarely does Dia display anger or rage, but if it comes to it, he gives off a very cold and distant demeanor and will most likely avoid the person involved unless it is a direct risk to himself or those close to him. He is not a violent person and will avoid conflict or attempt to de-escalate prior to anything else. Should that fail, he will certainly defend himself to the best of his ability.Likes:

BIOGRAPHY
Born and raised in Thavnair, Diarmune had a very pleasant childhood, sheltered from much of the violence and terror of the Garlean war due to the trade agreement that kept Thavnair mostly neutral. He grew up in a loving home, his parents having immigrated there from their home in Dalmasca decades before his conception. He spent much of his youth in schooling and assisting with the family business, giving him an extensive knowledge in silk making and some in tailoring. Being the only child for most of his life, Diarmune was the pride and joy of his parents, and they put a great deal of effort into his education and hobbies. It wasn't until a fair bit after he had grown and moved away that his twin sisters were born. As he got older, Dia displayed a significant interest in horticulture and botany, which his parents nurtured, and for a time he was primarily a botanist when he wasn't assisting his father with the silk factory. During a chance encounter, he befriended a Sharlayan Gleaner, an Elezen man named Cedrick, who later came to him to purpose the idea of becoming a Gleaner himself due to his extensive knowledge of flora and related plant-like creatures. Dia expressed a fondness for the strange and aggressive Morbol and it's subspecies. Given the option to travel the continents and gain access to one of the greatest libraries in the world, Dia said goodbye temporarily to his family and ventured off with their blessing and his Chocobo. Decades passed, filled with both wonderful and terrifying experiences, especially as Garlemald pushed it's conquest through the lands. Like his Sharlayan counterpart, he stayed out of the war, primarily focused on a special task, one even he was kept in the dark about. Even so, the Viera performed his duty with the utmost effort. Ultimately when the End of Days was no longer a threat, his work slowed allowing him to focus on his own interests and visit family more.
~EDUCATION
From a young age Diarmune was tutored in various fields, including math, reading and writing, and geography. He enjoyed learning and seemed to thrive in that environment, though his playful nature often got him scolded for not paying attention, or goofing off. As he got older and headed to Sharlayan, Dia was able to gain further education from the library and various classes offered. Today he still specializes in horticulture, but due to his time in Sharlayan, the Viera has a grasp of multiple subjects and topics that has benefitted him in his travels.
~CURRENT STATUS:
With the world no longer on the brink of utter destruction, Dia's life has slowed down a bit and while he still works as a Gleaner, the Viera now also heads his own projects and studies which take up a fair bit of his time. As well, with the Garlean empire reined in at a heel, travelling has become safer and so he's taken advantage of that to explore places he previously could either not visit, or stay long enough to satisfy his research and general curiosity.

SHARLAYAN:
While much of the Viera's time is spent away, he does return to his Sharlayan home from time to time, whether it's to bring in a specimen or to simply visit with old friends, he is not to difficult to find there, particularly as his clothing tends to standout against the more conservative and neutral tones of his Sharlayan counterparts. As a significant contributor in his field of study to the vast library over his three decades of work, Dia is most likely found there, but also will peruse the market and visit Labyrinthos from time to time. Especially if any of his projects are flourishing.

THAVNAIR:
Born and raised in Thavnair, Dia spent his entire youth there with his family. They are prominent silk makers and tailors, specializing in ornate and delicate garments. He's very familiar with the locals and after the panic of the End of Days subsided, Dia visits far more frequently. He's often found in the Radz-at-han market, out by Palaka's Stand, or in the silk factory pitching in to help his parents. A Thavnarian born, he has an identifiable accent and tends to wear garments that connect him to his home.

GLEANERS:
Are you a Gleaner too? Then there is a good chance you have crossed paths with him at some point in time, especially over the years of intense gathering in preparation for the End of Days. Due to the nature of his work (Specifically in regards to dangerous plants and plant-like creatures, IE: Morbols) it's very likely your Character might work side by side with him, or at least in the same vicinity.

TRAVELS/IN PASSING:
There are very few places on this grand shard that Dia has not been, which means his availability to meet people is vast and ever expanding! Perhaps you came across him at an Inn, or aboard a ship? Maybe you met him in one of the main cities, or out in the boonies of the continents... Regardless, Dia can be basically anywhere necessary to meet your character. (Note: Not the First however, I'm fairly lore strict on this point since only the WoL can freely travel back and forth at this point in the story and he is not a WoLPC.)
